What we practise

Our main focus is the study and practice of traditional Taijiquan (or Tai Chi), with Qigong included as a natural part of the training.

Tai Chi is a healthy practice for people of all ages and abilities, offering a way to support overall well-being while gradually exploring the depth of these traditional internal arts.

Better Movement

For anyone who wants to improve balance, posture, coordination and confidence in their body through calm, careful movement.

Stress Relief

For anyone looking for a regular time each week to slow down, breathe, focus and step out of the rush of daily life.

Who is Tai Chi for?

They are for everyone! Whether you are an athlete looking for a slower, more controlled practice, or you have never exercised before... there is something for you.

Here are just a few of the ways in which Tai Chi & Qigong can help...

Active Ageing

For people who want gentle, low-impact exercise that supports balance, mobility, leg strength and confidence in everyday movement.

Gentle Rebuilding

For people exercising on low-calorie diets, returning to movement after time away, or looking for something steady and low-impact that still helps the body work.

Gym Alternative

For those who want to exercise without loud music, machines, mirrors or pressure to push harder. Tai Chi offers a calmer, more thoughtful way to build strength and awareness.

Deeper Practice

For people already practising yoga, qigong, martial arts or other movement disciplines who want to explore structure, relaxation, rooting, coordination and whole-body movement through Tai Chi.
